At present Maxitalia Service counts a staff of more than 70 direct and indirect employees and has infrastuctures composed of specialized departments that allow us to work in full autonomy and organized as follows:
Engineering Department
Projects are designed carefully verifing all the technical regulations & standards (TRS) of the Country of installation.
Turning and Milling Department
We have a wide range of CNC lathes that allow us to turn pieces starting from few mm up to special pieces of 4.000 mm in diameter.
We proudly offer a full range of milling machines ranging from:
three, four and five-axis milling centers to medium
large milling machines with rotary tables up to 13,000 mm of travel
portal milling machines up to 10,000 travel.
Surface Protection Area
Our sandblasting and painting chambers measure 4000×8000 mm. Painting cycles used are all certified by notified bodies. We also offer NORSOK and SUBSEA painting cycles certified for off-shore use.
Carpentry and Welding Department
We have different and separate places for carbon steel welding and stainless steel and superalloys welding. Maxitalia Service has its own internationally recognized welding coordinator (IWI) to study the welding process and the editing of welding specifications (WPS) of all its production.
Non Destructive Test (NDT) and Hydraulic Test Area
Whenever possible we perform hydraulic tests up to 1000 bar and have our own internal testers for UT, PT, VT, MT, PMI.
Metrology Room
The different products are visually and dimensionally checked using calibrated instruments in a temperature-controlled environment.
Mechanical and Electro-instrumental Assembly Department
Maxitalia Service facility is complemented by two departments for mechanical and electro-instrumental assembly. Upon request, these departments can also perform functional tests, lifting tests up to 300 tons and drop tests.
